“This Place Is the Best!: I found myself with my family taking a "shortcut" through Massachusetts on our way to Maine, when our car broke down in the middle of nowhere (sorry East Otis) at 5:00 on a Saturday night. Even though the shop was closing, the owner (I forgot his name, Larry?) immediately came out and diagnosed our problem (dead fuel pump). We were sure we were stuck in East Otis with no hotel for the weekend. The owner quickly called a parts store in the closest city, 30 miles away, had them (who were also closing) put the part outside their door, and the owner lent me his car so I could drive to pick up the part. As I drove his car, he stayed open, removed the gas tank and pump awaiting my return. In less than two hours we were back on the road, and we'll never forget our wonderful experience, and great trust and effort by Larry to get us back on our trip.”
